Critical Consumer Citizens: Creating Financial Minds in Europe

A Comenius ProjectA clear objective of all participating schools is to help students become more critical and confident economic citizens by equipping them with skills and information necessary for living in any European partner country. By participating in the project and enhancing their competences with regard to socio-economic (work and mobility) and socio-cultural (tourism) aspects, students will also experience and contribute to European integration. Within lessons and in extra-curricular activities students will, for instance, undertake case studies addressing legal, social and cultural differences in consumer behaviour and in dealing with financial services. Students themselves will conduct research, analyse and communicate their findings with students internationally. ?National? results of the participating schools will be published and discussed on a web-site designed by students.The content and method of the work will facilitate students? increasing competences in consumer economics, the media and social and communicative skills. The project aims at initiating a process in the context of life-long learning and the European Qualifications Framework (EQF).Alter der Schülerinnen und Schüler:
